One of my biggest tips when shopping for art is never ever try to match your sofa. The beauty of art is the soul and emotion it evokes from you. I follow and work with many different interior designers from all over the US. I have seen so many trends and styles come and go. Like for 20 years. I am getting older. What I love so much about design and architecture today is the organic textures, natural woods, clean lines, unique furniture, colorful mixes of patterns with fabrics & wallpapers and biophilic interiors. I really think this is the most creative era I have seen so far. People are not afraid to experiment, at least most people are open to have fun with their interiors and be more expressive. Ok girls and guys, get out there and look for art that speaks to your soul and does not match the color of your sofa. Send me a picture of that special piece you find. PS: I just finished creating this painting in the picture titled, Rhythm & Blues from my Adler Collection. These paintings are inspired by my love of mid-century modern design and architecture. I always try to incorporate colors that I see in nature too.
