I love creating custom commissioned paintings! So often I work with interior designers and individual collectors that need or want a painting with soul and a story and it needs to be sized to fit on a desired wall.
The first step in commissioning art is to find the artwork and artist that you connect with and speaks to your emotions. I always say follow your gut. It will always lead you in the right direction. You can search for art online, visit art galleries & art fairs. Let Google help you do the searching. Take pictures of art that you like and start a conversation with the artist about their work. Artists love to share their stories and inspirations. I know I do. There is always a story to be told about a painting.
