Dear Friends,
Today is a quiet Sunday (2/26). A day for reflecting, reading, and simply being. I’m spending it with my cat, Stella, who has been my studio companion for so many years. She grew up by my side, watching me paint, curled up near my easel, always present. She hasn’t been well for the past three months. The vet isn’t certain, but they believe it’s cancer. So today, I’m just here with her—grateful, present, and cherishing our time together.
This new year feels powerful already. I’ve been meditating on raising my vibrations, focusing on positive energy, and letting that flow into my work. I believe our environment—the spaces we inhabit, our homes and offices—shape how we feel, heal, and live.
My art has always been about connection, about creating pieces that inspire and speak to the subconscious in ways words cannot. I want my work to be a source of grounding and energy, something that resonates on a deeper level.
For those of you who have followed my journey, you know my palette is rooted in earthy tones. These colors are a part of me. Some connect deeply with them, while others are drawn to brighter hues. That’s the beauty of art—it meets us where we are.
I’ve already completed five new paintings so far, each one an exploration of this journey—of presence, energy, and emotion. I’m looking forward to sharing them with you, whether through email, social media, or, if you’d like, in person at my studio. My door is always open. Email me Debrasferrari@gmail.com
Cheers to a year of art, inspiration and meaningful connections.
Love, Debra
